John W. Wilson is the managing director of Orsa Press. He started his career at Shell Oil Company working in Public Affairs. After a stint at Tenneco Oil Company, he joined Petroleum Engineer International as Gulf Coast editor.

This was followed by a move to Resource Publications where he edited the annual publication, Subsea. When the company purchased the regional publication Oil Patch, he took over the editorial responsibilities for this monthly publication.

His next move was to Gulf Publishing Company. From 1986 to 1998 he was director of sales, overseeing the divisions expanding sales efforts throughout the US and into Europe. In 1998 he was promoted to director of the division where he served until the division was sold 2000.

He founded Orsa Press the following year and welcomes your comments and feedback.
